Sharing Digital Memories
July 22, 2008
In this day and age of digital cameras and digital scrapbooking many of us end up with a hard drive full of digital images, be it photos and/or layouts, that never make it off our computers. Obviously, the whole point of capturing those memories and scrapbooking them means they need to be shared in some way. An easy way to do this is by using an online service. One of my personal favorites, is Shutterfly. They’ve been around several years, are easy to use, and have excellent customer service. The range of services and products they offer is fantastic.
How to get a Polaroid Effect

Love the look of an old fashioned polaroid with the perfect little journaling spot built right in there, but not sure how to get it with a digital photo? It could not be easier!
Challenge YourSelf
July 1, 2008
You’ve seen these everywhere, all the digital scrapbooking sites have Challanges. Usually hosted by one of the store’s designers or a member of the site’s Creative Team, Challenges, well challenge you to create a layout based on specified criteria. For instance, an Element Challenge will name certain elements/embellishments and maybe specify a number of them you need to use in your layout. Participants then post their layout to the specified Challenge Gallery.
Common challenges include; Element Challenge, Color Challenge, Scraplift Challenge, Font Challenge, and the always beloved, Template Challenge.
