Faithbooking

January 28, 2008

I hope you enjoy this weeks show about faithbooking. It’s not always easy to share such personal times in ones life.

The other day I spoke about being thankful and the place I go to and do my thinking about life. I wrote that post just hours before I found out that my daughter is now cancer free. I was in deep thought about life and what was happening.. mostly my faith in Christ.

Today as I sit here I feel like the weight of the world is off my shoulders and I’m so thankful to all the people who have come around to support us.

How Thankful Are You… Really?

January 24, 2008

I know sometimes we say we’re thankful. We say it almost without thinking, like when we casually say “I Love You” to your spouse in the morning.

I love the beach, we live right near White Rock and I often go there for thinking. As a child my mom would take us to dig up the sand here, there used to be big sand castle competitions… boy we loved those.

Let’s see….

As a teen my friends and I would hang out here, we’d get ice cream at the local ice cream shop (I even worked there serving icecream and milkshakes). We had friends at the beach, I spent alot of time there.

Scrappers Talk Radio Show #45 - Scrapbooking Your Faith

January 24, 2008

Recently Victoria was put in the hospital due to her tummy and back pain from the chemo treatments. I asked her permission to post any pictures of her and she said she doesn’t mind at all. This picture was taken after both of us had no sleep for 2 nights in a row and we were both very tired.

But like I said, I’m going to scrapbook this whole experience for her to show her courage and strength through this entire journey.

Which leads me to this week’s show which is all about scrapbooking your faith and not forgetting what God has done for us.
